Finding My Feet

Now that the last chaotic weekends are over, I’m finally able to get the engine going again.

I got a couple irons in the fire that are promising and if successful, I’ll be able to implement some much needed upgrades. More than anything, I need a private server for my client files and PC backup. Shooting media across clouds works, but there is usually a monthly cost AND if a service or sub-service(like Clouldflare) have a hiccup, then access is lost and could cause delays and worse case losses.

My files are a mess right now, working to take up archive and workable space and I’m slowly running out. So adding 10TB to start with would be a huge boon. Plus I could take on larger projects and manage more clients.

Another avenue is streaming and I really need to get my stuff going. I keep trying to find ways to maybe cut a few corners, but I think the counter costs aren’t worth it. First thing first, I need a reference sheet and that’s going to be a couple hundred right there for the complexity I want. Ultimately that’ll work for the long run as I can use that for commissions for PNGs, emotes, and eventually my full Live2D model which will be very exciting.

So for now I move slow but sure, ramping up speed and eventually I can run where I want to.
